About the Role
We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our innovative team at Skillex. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You’ll collaborate with our cross-functional teams to create scalable and reliable solutions for our web applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain Backend Services:
Build and maintain server-side applications, databases, and APIs using modern backend technologies like Node.js and Express.js.
Ensure Data Security and Integrity:
Implement security and data protection solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices.
Optimize for Performance:
Optimize backend processes and queries for speed and scalability.
Collaborate with Front-End Teams:
Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Database Management:
Design and maintain databases using MySQL, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
Implement and Integrate APIs:
Develop and manage RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Stay Updated:
Keep up with the latest technologies and trends to continuously improve our backend infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and Debug:
Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues in backend systems.
Additional Requirements
Proven Experience:
Demonstrated experience as a Backend Developer, with a portfolio or examples of your work.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in backend programming languages, specifically Node.js and Express.js.
Database Skills:
Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
API Development:
Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and asynchronous request handling.
Version Control:
Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
Problem-Solving Abilities:
Strong analytical and debugging skills to ensure smooth and efficient backend operations.
Collaboration:
Excellent communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in both Russian and English is required.
